how is your career at randstad?
I came to Randstad by accident. I dreamed of a career in science, I wanted to stay for a PhD at the University, as an ethnologist to research cultures, travel and give lectures. During the summer holidays I got an internship offer from Randstad. After the internship, I started working as a junior billing specialist. And so began my greatest professional chapter in my life.
Quite unexpectedly, it turned out that in matters related to working time I discovered a great professional passion in my life and realized that this is what I would like to do professionally.
While working, I raised my qualifications with courses, trainings and postgraduate studies, and Randstad developed very dynamically. In 2009, I was promoted to the position of Senior Card and Payroll Specialist, and after 3 years I took the position of the Head of the Human Resources and Payroll Team. Currently, I manage Randstad Payroll Solutions branches in three locations.
I look after my teams, support them in the optimization of processes, I also conduct training for clients and employees in HR and payroll, SAP; I also take part in company-wide projects, e.g. the implementation of Lean Management.
In 2016, I took part in the first edition of the Randstad 2016 Talent Program. Participation in such a program is an honor and a huge dose of motivation for the next years of work.
I have a great team, I work with great clients and today I know it was meant to be. Life is the art of choice. Earlier dreams of a scientific career are gone - the remaining passion for traveling near and far.
The most important thing is that I work in a company that offers many development opportunities with cheerful people full of good ideas. I would not change that.

the funniest thing that happened to you in randstad this?
Once, while walking past the reception desk in the local office, I found a large group of people waiting for health and safety training. Despite such a large group of people, the room was filled with silence. At one point someone's cell phone rang. After a few rings, there was a nervous purr at first, followed by the voice of our receptionist:
- "RMF FM my and your music"
As you can see, we like to make our employees smile.

I feel like in a family - problems are solved together, we support each other, we respect each other, we often like each other and maintain contacts outside of work. Misunderstandings are cleared up quickly and among themselves. And above all, we can always count on ourselves.
