your tasks

  • Working with the Strategic Vendor Manager to on-board new products centrally and supporting our
  • Operating Companies locally
  • Co-ordinate with local and central teams to identify clear procurement routes, ensuring suppliers are in place
  • Working closely with the bid team to ensure all purchasing routes and pricing are fully documented to assist in smooth operational delivery (including CCW)
  • Managing supply timelines between vendors, distributors and company
  • Responsible for maintaining overall EMEA price books for key strategic vendors and suppliers
  • Working with central and local procurement teams to create purchase orders in line with project requirements
  • Generating spend reports and supporting our sales teams to drive forecasting optimisation – working between Sales team/Vendor Manager and Vendors to improve forecasting process
  • Maintaining centrally storing product info, lead times, vendor contacts etc (Vendor Directory)
  • Supporting sales activities (e.g. solutions catalogue)
  • Working with Steering Committee to support central product decisions

what we expect

  • Experience in Audio Visual / Collaboration industry, worked for either a manufacturer or recognized AV Distributor, Reseller or System Integrator.
  • Experience in international company preferable
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness
  • Understanding of EMEA supply chain/Import/Tax implications
  • Ability to maintain close working relationships, and functions as liaison within the group companies, i.e., CS marketing, sales and operations teams
  • Excellent communicator with ability to clearly convey ideas and data in written, presentation and spokenformats
  • Strong attention to details and ability to multitask to meet tight deadlines
  • The ability to work effective independently as part of cross-functional team
  • Strong in both MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • University Graduate, Bachelor’s or Master's Degree preferred or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Experience in services/product management and/or portfolio development/management
  • Language - Fluent in Local language and English to business level imperative.
