your tasks

  • Preparation of Financial statements on a timely manner, co-operation with the auditors
  • Responsible for monthly/annual closing procedure in Poland – including and management reporting and reporting to authorities (e.g. tax)
  • Follow up and development of standard cost calculations
  • Managing an inventory valuation and inventory level follow up
  • Monitoring of accounts receivable level, payment terms and accounts payables level
  • Preparation of adequate and timely financial information to support management decision making including ( ad hoc reporting, business cases, investment calculations
  • Preparation of annual budgets and forecast in co-operation of business responsible persons
  • Participate in investment planning and business case preparation
  • Coordinate development of IT systems including ERP and finance reporting tools
  • Responsibility of payroll function

what we expect

  • Experience in business controller tasks and various development projects 
  • Experience as a Finance Manager in medium sized company, preferably production company
  • Understanding and experience in accounting principles, legal and tax requirements regarding finance function/financial statements
  • Understanding of HR and IT functions in order to be able to coordinate HR functions/payroll and IT issues with an external service provider
  • Analytical and solution driven mindset
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting
  • Min. 5 years' experience in Business Controlling, Finance Manager positions
