- develop and grow footprint of centralized master data execution (materials, pricing, customer)
- drive Global standardisation and automation of operational master data execution
- translate strategic direction of the organization into workable solutions
- responsible for the functioning of the entire operational center including people management and service delivery
- manage Master data Operations team, ensuring data management responsibilities are clearly articulated, communicated and embedded in their roles
- ensure that the operation of the GMDM master data organisation meets the expectations of the stakeholders and the business as a whole
- ensure delivery of the Master Data Management team objectives, by directing their activities for the achievement of goals
- determine staffing requirements for the master data operations team and delivery of goals, recruiting the most appropriate team members
- manage relevant data quality KPIs, measure the data on a regular basis and report out to drive corrective actions
- actively monitor compliance with agreed governance protocols and ensuring standards are maintained
- maintain a robust set of working data maintenance operating principles, procedures, systems, tools and forms to maintain the data in the relevant systems
- ensure that data requests from the business are processed in line with agreed SLAs and GMDM operating principles but also in the most cost-effective manner
- ensure relevant training, documentation and knowledge transfer is available to users
- min. 3 years of experience in Master Data
- solid experience in people management as team leader or manager
- basic knowledge of SAP - must have
- fluent english language
- formal training in data maintenance processes, data governance, and data quality management techniques
- proven and sustained track record of successful delivery in multi/cross-functional environments
- team set-up/expansion/leadership including vision setting, road mapping and high-quality recruitment
- a natural flair for coaching, motivating and interacting with people on a different levels
- able to positively influence others through highly developed leadership skills to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization
- strong communication and influencing skills – the ability to simplify complexity
