your tasks
- implement, maintain, manage, and review payroll accountancy and related processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of
payroll accounting transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other personnel costs, - prepare and monitor accurate postings of payroll transactions,
- prepare and approve account reconciliations for payroll related accounts.,
- identify and recommend updates to payroll accounting processes, systems, controls, and procedures,
- liaise with country HR and Finance teams and local payroll providers,
- act as an expert,
- create / maintain the process description (SOP/DTP),
- facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors,
- contribute to the growth of payroll team organization in the Shared Services Center.
what we expect
- + 3 years of relevant professional experience,
- bachelor’s degree completed in finance, accounting, business,
- fluent in English in speaking and writing,
- good command of another European language (French, German, Italian, Spanish) is an asset,
- prior experience with payroll and personnel-related expenses handling, preferably in the European Shared Services environment,
- knowledge of SAP (GL, CO, BI) and clear understanding of payroll and financial accounting processes, incl. US GAAP,
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word and Outlook software.
