    For our Client, one of the most stable SSC in the market, we are looking for a Candidate for the position of Senior Payroll Transition Accountant.

    your tasks
    • lead transition of payroll related activities to Shared Service Center (e.g., ensure harmonization of transitioned processes to the existing PA Blueprint, engagement and alignment with key stakeholders, identification of improvement and automation opportunities to increase accounting process effectiveness),
    • opportunity to learn new technological skills to drive digital transformation,
    • manage and review payroll accountancy which includes related processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll accounting transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other personnel costs,
    • prepare and monitor accurate postings of payroll transactions,
    • prepare and approve account reconciliations for payroll related accounts,
    • identify and recommend updates to payroll accounting processes, systems, controls and procedures,
    • business partner with country HR and finance teams and local payroll providers,
    • create and maintain the process descriptions,
    • facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
    what we expect
    • +3 years of relevant professional experience,
    • bachelor’s degree completed in finance, accounting or business,
    • fluent in English in speaking and writing,
    • strong analytical and problem-solving skill,
    • leadership skills,
    • continuous improvement mindset: always looking for ways to improve,
    • good command of another European language (French, German, Italian, Spanish) is an asset,
    • prior experience with payroll and personnel-related expenses handling, preferably in the European Shared Services environment,
    • knowledge of SAP (GL, CO, BI) and clear understanding of payroll and financial accounting processes, incl. US GAAP,
    • proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook, and Power Automate is an asset.
