For our Client, one of the SSC in Krakow, we are looking for the Candidate for the position of Senior Tax Specialist with French.

On this posistion you will be responsible for maintaining books in compliancy with France & Belgium local regulatory rules. You will ensures all Tax and Social deliverables deadlines are met in terms of declaration and payments and you will be the key support of the Finance Director.

your tasks

  • maintains Books for France and Belgium in compliancy with France and Belgium local rules & US GAAP regulatory rules, including permanent account review,
  • calculation of income tax (monthly and annual reporting),
  • completion and payment of all tax returns including VAT, Year end reporting, Transfer Price, Income tax and other taxes & declaration,
  • completion and payment of monthly, quarterly, annual social security returns related members activities in France,
  • payroll accounting including payment of social returns related to Staff in France,
  • anticipate any incoming change in regulatory France & Belgium Finance & tax environment,
  • being local coordinator for any local PwC audits conducted from French and Belgium,
  • statutory year end reporting,
  • key support of Finance Director for any daily ad hoc requests,
  • statutory fixed assets management and leases (statutory and US GAAP).

what we expect

  • min. 4 years experience in reporting/tax,
  • Master Degree in Accounting field,
  • fluent in French language: speaking and writing (min. C1 level)
  • expert in Excel (VBA as an asset),
  • ability to communicate in a professional way with upper management, other departmental teams and finance professionals at all levels, both internally and externally,
  • autonomy (self motivated and prioritizing ability),
  • development, planning and organizational skills.
