your tasks
- manage allocated vendor and contract portfolios across countries and categories with minimal supervision
- ability to understand as well as interpret contracts and formulize strategies out of this evaluation
- maintain and expand contract and vendor file depository
Collaborate on internal and external audit requests - evaluate compliance of vendors, services and agreements and mitigate resulting risks
- build key vendor relationships incl. regular business reviews with internal and external stakeholders
- ability to review and understand vendor financial status (reading & interpreting financial statements)
- ability to build, implement and maintain relevant and impactful Base Vendor Management Programs
- remotely manage implementation of contracts in line with negotiations and on-board them to the group
- monitor KPIs against envisioned state and adjust where necessary
- be point of contact for complaints/issues and work with internal client and vendor to resolve
- responsible for tracking savings and cost avoidance, dealing with financial planning and forecasting
what we expect
- minimum 2-4 years’ relevant experience in procurement or compliance
- keen eye for detail, sound financial knowledge, data analytical skills, communication and problem solving
- good communicator – able to communicate comfortably with all levels of seniority, and across time zones, and cultures
- customer focused
- previous experience of working in a fast-paced procurement environment
- highly organised and able to prioritise tasks
- ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- awareness of regulation and legislation on the markets involved
- a proven team player with excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- advanced in English language and German or Spanish language B2+
