As our new process engineer, you will contribute to all phases of a project, from concept study through specification and design to test, commissioning, and after-service and your assignments may vary from small machine deliveries and specialist support to being on the team that is engaged in larger "Green Field" factory projects – mainly in Europe and North America. Thus, you should expect approx. 60 - 80 travel days per year.
We have a fully booked pipeline for the coming years, so you will be responsible for assisting production facilities running with issues of machinery and equipment and the connected processes, ensuring our production processes are running smoothly and onwards. Furthermore, you will assist our project teams with accurate descriptions to our project manager, parts project manager, or potentially the factory maintenance team on any breakdowns or towards our suppliers.
Also, you will oversee the documentation, specification, and reporting status on a regular basis as well as train operators, technicians, or engineers onsite at our factories or in test facilities elsewhere. your tasks
For supplies to the Local Production Company (OPCO) and projects delivered by the Cold End to OPCO:
Providing assistance to local Production companies or cold-end projects executed for OPCO by running equipment and optimizing the coherent process flow.
Providing an advisory service to the organization.
Conducting assessment of raw materials (e.g. foils) for the Cold End to ensure their capabilities as well as sustainability for use in new projects.
Managing changes effectively.
Ensuring the provision of documentation for all undertaken tasks.
Documenting process changes and updating relevant procedures and work instructions in accordance with the document control procedure.
Planning, implementing, recording, and reporting trials such as FAT and SAT for Cold deliveries to Local OPCO, including providing conclusions and summaries to relevant personnel.
Provide training in new and revised operating procedures and work instructions.
Offering assistance to Maintenance for local OPCO in addressing breakdowns, providing accurate descriptions, and offering feedback to Project manager and equipment suppliers who have designed, delivered, and commissioned the equipment.
Assist in problem-solving related to quality and environmental issues.
Conduct training in new and revised operating procedures and work instructions.
what we expect

Moreover, you:
Have a technical engineering background in automation, mechanical, or electrical, together with 5-10 years (or more) of experience in your technical field.
Project engineer, Project manager, Process engineering approach and background.
Ability, desire, and confidence to travel 60-80 days per year, occasionally up to 100 days per year.
You have a hands-on approach to your projects and preferably with a background in operational-based engineering.
Have experience in working with equipment specification and supplier follow-up (changes, FAT, SAT, Commissioning of equipment).
Have profound experience in different packing machines, and preferably knowledge of running them.
Have skills and background that support sparring on control philosophy, automation, and process optimization on automatic machines for cutting, stacking, and packing.
Have experience within the fields of CE marking and machine safety.
Are eager to improve the standards on quality, “walk the line, spotting issues that may be improved in installed equipment or in connection with supplier delivery.
Professional in English both verbally and in writing since our corporate language is English
Experience with various foil types and other raw materials for the industry is preferred.
