We are looking for an experienced BI Competency Manager who would like to join IT partner for a wide range of banks and other players in the financial industry. It is a new role to support competence growth and new initiatives in the office.

your tasks

  • Drive and support the BI competence development
  • Setting direction for utilisation of and BI profile development
  • Support and facilitate team efficiency, process improvement initiatives, SDLC or ITIL services
  • Screening candidates and supporting the hiring managers in recruiting BI profiles
  • Build relations and cooperate with other leaders and managers
  • Keep updated with new technologies and best practices in the BI field

what we expect

  • Extensive experience in ETL, data modeling and data warehousing
  • Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, SAP Business Objects, Powershell, Dimensional data modeling and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
  • Knowledge of databases and data warehouses, e.g. SQL Server, Netezza, Oracle DB
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (preferably Azure): Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Analysis Services, Azure DevOps, DataBricks/Spark, PowerBI, Azure Functions and more
  • Knowledge of Agile software development tools and frameworks: Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, XP
  • Strong background in coding (min. 8 years)
  • Strong English communication skills
