- be responsible for the delivery of the Source to Contract services for EMEA region focusing on Logistics
- deliver sourcing, negotiation, and contract execution, as well as data, contract & supplier management
- collaborate with Global Category Management, EMEA Category Lead and the local Purchasing teams to secure savings and other set KPIs critical to the Category Logistics
- use company's best practices to execute sourcing strategies, achieving set objectives on quality, cost, delivery, sustainability & innovation
- support local & regional projects with expertise in sourcing systems, negotiations, and contract execution
- identify, manage, and develop the right supplier base in alignment with Category Management and Category Lead
- develop & maintain strong relationships with strategic local, regional & global suppliers, as well as internal stakeholders and partners
- be responsible for using the right sourcing systems in the most efficient way, depending on the business case
- identify, understand & share best practices among the Purchasing Communities
- secure compliance with company's Global standards
- analyze operational processes to identify & promote improvements regarding design and ways of working to ensure cost-optimized specifications
- relevant sourcing experience, as well as additional experience in Logistics or Supply Chain
- strong procurement expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, cost model synthesis, and supplier relationship management for delivering EMEA region, multi-country, high-spend complex engagements
- knowledge & Experience in Project Management / Change Management
- strategic, analytical & entrepreneurial thinking
- good understanding of product cost breakdowns and experience in methods for TCO management, based on product cost analysis and cost engineering
- proficient in using Microsoft Office (including MS Excel, and Power BI)
- excellent communicator and presenter at key stakeholders / top executive level
- significant interpersonal skills – ability to lead negotiations and purchasing projects as part of international communities
- experience in forwarding company - nice to have
- flexibility to travel (EMEA)
- very good English (B2/C1) is a must
- good SAP/ARIBA experience
- understanding of economy and finance and the ability to make strategic decisions based on that
