job description

For cosy SSC located in Warsaw we are looking for an experienced professional, with business maturity for new role of Credit Control Manager.

your tasks

  • Responsible for credit reviews of the customer portfolio
  • Supervise the performance of documentary collections and processing of Letters of Credit
  • Credit limit approval in accordance with guidelines and coordination of such according Corporate Policy.
  • Prepare monthly reporting of customer performance (metrics and KPIs) to Business Management as well as Financial Management in Europe and NA
  • Periodic meetings with business management to discuss customer performance
  • Support Bankruptcy handlings either personally or together with credit representative, this includes securing that reclaimable VAT is claimed back and appropriate documentation is obtained for this.
  • Support AR Securitization in NA and EMEA including periodic audits
  • Retain knowledge on trade finance, country specifics as well as treasury support
  • Manage credit collection and credit analysis teams in Poland and India
  • Support in implementation of new systems (e.g. SAP releases)
  • Continual improvements of the financial processes;
  • Formulate and deploy standardized accounting procedures aimed at driving consistency in accounting policies used by GBS in Poland and India.
  • Keep close contact with internal stakeholders like business management, sales reps and finance;
  • Contact with external and internal auditors;
  • Identify, valuate and quantify any Internal risks;
  • Participate in special (ad-hoc) projects.

what we expect

  • Several years of experience in Treasury, Credit & Finance management, Accounts Receivable
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of relevant financial experience in a multinational environment;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in team management
  • Experience with Internal Controls (SOX);
  • In-depth understanding of credit control processes and modern credit management methodologies;
  • Able to execute high quality credit reviews surpassing the basic reviews
  • SAP knowledge would be an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Pro-active, hands on mentality, convincing, motivated and team player
