For one of our client from the finance sector we are looking for an EMEA Voice Cisco Engineer.

your tasks

  • Participating in the CUCM upgrade process to version 12.5
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communication Manager 11.5 and 12.5 and Cisco Voice Gateways
  • Manage implementation, overseeing build, validation and closure phases for various projects
  • Plan implementation tasks, including change management and communication.
  • Performing major changes on live production environment
  • Participating in automation initiatives
  • Troubleshooting corner cases related to VoIP
  • Organizing, planning and executing technical projects (upgrades, migrations, certificate management).

what we expect

  • Knowledge of Cisco CUCM hardware/software up to CUCM 11.x releases (CCIE level preferred)
  • Experience in managing enterprise-scale voice deployments on a variety of platforms
  • Experience in customer support in a time-critical environment solving time critical production issues and problems
  • Networking experience (CCNP level preferred)
  • Knowledge of trunking, including ISDN and SIP-based services
  • VoIP Protocols: SIP, H323, MGCP, T.38/T.30, Q-SIG, ISDN,SCCP
  • Call Control: Call Manager, Call Manager Express, Avaya Communication Manager, Avaya Session Manager
  • Voice Gateways: Cisco ISR, Avaya G430/G450, Audiocodes Media Pack, VoiceBlue Next, NET Tenor and UX GW
  • Call Center: Cisco Unified Contact Center Express, Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise
  • Strong communication, organization and planning skills
  • Ability to react to a dynamic environment
  • Fluent English written and spoken

  • Familiarity with a heavily controls-focused environment highly desirable
  • IM and Presence: Cisco IM & Presence
  • Collaboration: Cisco WebEX Meeting Server, Cisco TMS Server
