For our Client, an international SSC company with a stable position in the market, we are looking for a candidate for the position of GL Accountant with Spanish. If you are worked in the AP/AR department over 3 years, have experience in process transition, and would like to start career in the GL process, this offer is for you!

your tasks

  • Intercompany accounting and reconciliation
  • complete monthly general ledger accounts and bank reconciliations
  • performing reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • perform general ledger close process
  • Fixed Assets accounting
  • accruals accounting
  • Tax reporting
  • providing support specific to external and internal audits
  • recommendation and implementation of process improvements ideas
  • identifying potential process improvements opportunities
  • supporting other team members in day to day processes
  • providing audit support

what we expect

  • University degree educational background in finance and accounting
  • at least 3 years of experience in accounting/finance or in an AP or AR process
  • fluency in English
  • very good knowledge of Spanish (B2)
  • experience in an international environment will be an asset
  • experience with ERP accounting systems (e.g. Oracle)
  • knowledge of international financial accounting standards (e.g. US GAAP, IFRS) would be an asset
  • practical knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • service-oriented and professional working approach 
  • good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
  • ability to work in teams and with deadlines
