For our client from the banking sector, we are looking for a Investment Funds Analyst. The primary task of the Private Equity & Real Estate Performance Analyst will be to support execution and settlement process of transfers for mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity and real estate funds. The Analyst should have a comprehensive knowledge of mutual funds as well alternative investments. Ability to monitor the project progress, various reporting methodologies as well reconciliation of  internal data  would be helpful as well.

your tasks

  • Support the execution and settlement process of Free of Payment transfers of all types of Investment Funds – MF, HF, PERE
  • Support the execution and settlement of all transaction types and events related to funds
  • Identify  and Investigate issues related to the processing of financial transactions 
  • Reach to external parties (Fund Houses, Fund Admins, Custodian) to obtain contract notes
  • Provide support and develop yourself as a subject matter expert on PE / RE fund life cycle, full scope of transactions offered and performance of such products
  • Analyze internal records v/s official Fund statements; identify discrepancies, maintain supporting backups and process corrective bookings
  • Progress of the Project monitoring and reporting to Senior stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and follow financial data processing lineage
  • Ability to operate efficiently in a time sensitive manner

  • Relevant experience with Investment Funds– preferably in operations area
  • Strong Investments Products knowledge
  • Experience with data reconciliation for large sets of data
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve complex financial data integrity issues
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-Oriented and able to demonstrate ability to multi task and produce high quality, accurate work
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
