This position is within the Operations and Technology Department. Candidate will be part of a high performing and niche Global team that will deliver effective program and project management across the Bank.

The position is a business analyst within Bank Regulatory & Compliance Project Management Group. This role will participate in the in the full project lifecycle of critical regulatory and compliance initiatives, collaborating with project stakeholders to build high quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of all aspects of the project lifecycle, but whose focus will be on business analysis, requirements gathering and defining optimal solutions.

your tasks

  • Developing a clear understanding of project Business Requirements
  • Writing and maintaining Business/Functional Requirements Documents 
  • Prepare Functional Requirements & Design Document in collaboration with various internal stakeholders
  • Explain overall requirements to various Applications Owners and engaged in cross review of functional requirements
  • Ensure System designs and solutions are as per Bank policies, and procedures and guidelines
  • Acting as a “translator” between the business, Change Team,  and Operation and Technology
  • Working with stakeholders at all levels as defined by the individuals project
  • Assisting with integration and acceptance testing
  • Supporting the development of training and implementation material
  • Providing support during and post implementation
  • Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
  • Developing project plans and providing project management assistance
  • Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and communicate with Change Team
  • Key Stakeholder management with various internal customers, partners, and internal and external suppliers
  • Working with users, business analysts, and developers to understand user and system requirements 
  • Assisting the QA team in generating scenarios for effective and thorough testing 
  • Delivering material/presentations to Senior Management, internal and external clients

what we expect

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 7+ years of Total experience, Minimum 4 years of experience as Business Analyst, Project and Program Management
  • Business Analyst certification is an advantage
  • Experience in typical private banking products such as Loans, Deposits, Mortgages, Fund Transfers, Client Reporting, Tax, Capital Markets, trust will be an added plus
  • Ability to work in challenging, demanding and strict regulatory timelines
  • Strong communication skills, ability to explain Business requirements in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders (supplier, partners, management etc) in various forum
  • Ability to build relationships and negotiate solutions while liaising between business, operations, technology 
  • Self-motivated and a team player that works wells with individuals and thrives in a complex, global organization 

Required Skills:

  • Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Modelling techniques and methods
  • Leadership
  • Exposure to various SDLC methodologies
  • Familiarity with Project Management (Requirement management, Risk Management, Resource Management, Project Integration Management etc)
  • Ability to work with off-shore team
