For my client I am looking for Payroll Implementation Specialist.

The Payroll Implementation Specialist will work collaboratively with all departments incl: the project team, HR, Benefits, Finance and Legal, as well as the Payroll vendor, in order to coordinate and deliver a successful payroll and T&A system implementation in the given site/country/region.

your tasks

  • First Point of Contact for project team/ vendor 
  • Coordinate communication/ change management for the site 
  • Enforce project deadlines within the site (e.g. that all information required by the project team/vendor is submitted on time) - incl. collection of time and attendance and pay types; current employee time /attendance; payroll info for data conversion
  • Directs and manages transitions within the site/ country/ region 
  • Analyse existing systems/ rules & issues and business processes in regards to payroll and T&A 
  • Understand business process in regards to payroll and T&A to be able to guide and recommend best way forward once working with Vendor
  • Participates in regular project team meetings to deliver update on any progress/ issues/ concerns & potential solutions
  • Supports day to day payroll requirements as needed 
  • Develop (support to develop) training and communication around the payroll and T&A implementation and systems 
  • Coordinate end user training

  • Payroll and T&A systems and administration experience required 
  • SAP / WorkDay experience mandatory
  • Knowledge of local pay and benefits rules
  • Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities; expertise in building and maintaining business relationships. 
  • Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, as well as with Vendors
  • Experience of working with internal business partners / stakeholders
  • Superior organizational skills. 
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel & Visio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Good level of verbal and written English compulsory 
  • Must be able to recognize basic procedural issues as they arise, and escalate to the appropriate level
