your tasks

  • Manages a team of shared service professionals and delivers centralized indirect purchasing services in accordance with the organization’s strategic direction and functional guidelines by corporate procurement
  • Executes selected operative procurement processes and provides support to Center of Excellence Procurement especially in the area of Purchase-to-Pay processes
  • Performs cost analyses, negotiates and obtains offers in accordance with specified guidelines and procurement procedures
  • Manages communication and communicates with internal and external clients
  • Ensures adherence to compliance requirements of purchasing processes
  • Understands and meets the defined SLA including the respective KPIs
  • Ensures adherence to compliance requirements of purchasing processes
  • Measures and monitors the purchasing service center team performance, KPIs and group commitments to goals and objectives. Measures results to improve transactional efficiencies in close alignment with the respective internal and external clients

what we expect

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an indirect purchasing related context
  • Excellent management skills and ability to lead and motivate others in accomplishing goals
  • Experience in Purchase-to-Pay processes, in particular transactional purchasing
  • Profound experience in SAP and MS Office
  • Excellent German skills, English is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Economics, Procurement or similar
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience in communication with customers and suppliers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural context with different stakeholders
  • Ability to exercise professional judgment and assume responsibility for decisions which have an impact on people, quality of service and costs
  • Deals with interpersonal conflicts, stressful work conditions and rejection in a problem-solving and solutions-oriented way
