Our client is establishing a Finance Shared service center organization supporting all units globally. We have an exciting future ahead of us towards a clear Finance strategy road map. Finance will have a powerful role related to a lean, efficient and digital environment, and we are aiming to be in the frontline of next-generation Business Finance. 

We are now looking for an accountant to join our Record to Report team.

your tasks

  • RtR operations based on US GAAP/ SOX
  • reviewing the balance sheet and profit and loss account for errors and uncertainties
  • reconciling balance sheet accounts, including wages, taxes and accruals
  • preparation and operation in the area of auxiliary ledgers
  • prepayments and accruals
  • handling of records of fixed assets, material and legal values in the balance sheet area
  • reporting related to taxes
  • supporting internal and external audit
  • participation in the implementation of work streamlining processes

what we expect

  • university graduate with at least 2-3 years of work experience in Accounting/Finance area
  • computer literacy is essential and experience in MS office applications (excellent command of MS Excel is a must)
  • results and action-oriented individual with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • up to date standard knowledge of corporate and local accounting rules
  • pragmatic & logical thinker with an eye for detail and an analytical mind
  • accurate, being able to react quickly, communicative
  • very good English (min.B2) and communicative German (at least B1)
