your tasks

The Regional Process Excellence Manager is responsible for supporting the realization of business strategies through the development and provision of methodologies, tools and resource to enable operational efficiency and effectiveness improvements. Working closely with senior management to establish plans at both a global and local level to create a pipeline of opportunities. Management of relationships with delivery partners ensuring clear communication of requirements and deliverables.

  • partnering with senior management and business area leads to create plans that support the realization of business strategies and objectives
  • partner with Project Owners and Project managers to ensure projects scope addresses the root cause, ensure effective process re-engineering, and implement sustainable continuous improvement methodologies that ensure project benefits are realized and sustained
  • design and facilitation of workshops to understand current processes, conduct route cause analysis investigation, design future state and develop change plans
  • use Lean Six Sigma tools and principles to identify operational and process efficiency improvements opportunities, development of compelling business cases and presentation to senior management for sign off
  • collection, consolidation and analysis of data and information, presenting in a format that brings information to life therefore supporting effective decision making
  • participate in the development of Process Excellence practice, methodologies, tools and capabilities that compliment effective project and change management
  • delivery of training and coaching to employees as part of the creation of the PEX Academy

what we expect

  • bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or appropriate experience
  • willingness to travel - up to 25%
  • lean six sigma or BPM certifications
  • previous management of similar teams responsible for the delivery of operational improvement project and strategic programmes
  • detailed knowledge of end-2-end process including measurement and governance systems
  • relevant experience in a process development capacity supporting complex, global, large scale or business critical transformation programmes
  • successful and demonstrable track record delivering end-to-end (from conception to benefits realization) process improvement initiatives
  • understanding of service management and design principles
  • experience developing and delivering Lean practitioner level training
  • able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management to the point of being considered a trusted advisor
  • strategic thinker able to take ideas from concept to clearly understandable and actionable deliverables
  • able to create stories that present compelling cases for change.
