your tasks

  • responsible for transition of RTR proces from Germany to Poland
  • maintaining high quality of accounting books
  • responsible for accounting reporting for both Group and Statutory purposes
  • first point of contact for external partners to which accounting- and tax processes are outsourced (accountancy, local legislation compliance)
  • provide data to the external partner regarding statutory financial statement and tax returns (CIT, VAT)
  • coordinate and support the execution of activities related to internal and external audit requirements,
  • work closely with BPO accounting teams to resolve discrepancies, issues and queries for related accounting issues in a timely manner,
  • ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting
  • prepare all documentation for monthly accruals and prepayments
  • review and prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation and prepare Balance Sheet reviews
  • regular focus on Balance sheets to minimize open items
  • identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives and best practices
  • maintain good working relationships with other Teams
  • ad hoc tasks and projects to improve processes defined by direct manager

what we expect

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in RTR
  • Strong wilingness to learn
  • Experience in a multinational company, ideally with partly outsourced accounting will be an advantage
  • Master Degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Accounting certificates (ACCA, CIMA, Tax Advisor) - nice to have
  • Minimum B2 in English is a must and additionaly German min. B1/B2
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook and Office applications. Good knowledge of MS Excel is essential;
  • Strong Business Awareness
  • Able to work effectively with others in a team
  • Ability to adapt and implement new procedures as required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work with many levels and types of people
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with competing priorities
