For our client from banking sector we are looking for a Scala Developer.

your tasks

  • Production of high-quality software, emphasizing simplicity, maintainability and reuse;
  • Building new applications and developing the existing ones;
  • Working proactively on diverse and innovative solutions;
  • Thorough testing, documentation, and support of development output;
  • Participation in code and design reviews;
  • End-to-end development processes;
  • Cooperating closely with other team members and technical teams (locally and globally).

what we expect

  • Experience with developing software that processes, persists and distributes data via relational and non-relational technologies:
  • Strong Java and Scala Skills / at least 5+ years of Java and 3+ years of Scala ( or other functional language)
  • Understanding of modelling of data sources to search solution
  • Service implementation – REST / RPC Services


nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Java frameworks – Spring, JMS, Microservices
  • Experience in design & implementing search solutions (ElasticSearch, Lucene, Solr, Attivio)
  • Integration with search solution to middleware & distributed messaging - Kafka, Tibco EMS
  • Experience with CI/CD build pipelines and toolchain – Git, BitBucket, TeamCity, Artifactory, Jira
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and supporting frameworks (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Mesos)
