Our client is establishing a Finance Shared service center organization supporting all units globally. We have an exciting future ahead of us towards a clear Finance strategy road map. Finance will have a powerful role related to a lean, efficient and digital environment, and we are aiming to be in the frontline of next-generation Business Finance. We are now looking for an OtC Senior Accountant to join our Order to Cash team.

your tasks

  • following up and securing that collection process works as planned on time in scope
  • supporting to business of Sundry invoices and daily follow up
  • managing & reporting credit risks: includes maintenance of correct risk
  • ensuring the quality of master data about our customers in the customers ledger
  • carrying out ad hoc and monthly analysis of AR & Bank processes and DSO
  • compliant performing AR closing and reporting activities
  • handling of incoming payments & securing process of open items
  • being a main contact person between local business and bank
  • preparing audit files and facilitate auditions (internal and external)
  • have a close collaboration with Sales organizations in North EMEA
  • following up and monitor of outsourced AR & Bank activities
  • driving and coordinate improvements and use Business excellence as the tool to reach our future goals

what we expect

  • university graduate with at least 4- 5 years of work experience in Accounting/Finance area
  • computer literacy is essential and experience in MS office applications (excellent command of MS Excel is a must)
  • results and action-oriented individual with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • up to date standard knowledge of corporate and local accounting rules
  • pragmatic & logical thinker with an eye for detail and an analytical mind
  • accurate, being able to react quickly, communicative
  • very good command of English (min.B2 level) and able to communicate in German (at least B1 level)
