Do you have experience in GL? Can you speak English and

German on an advanced level? Would you like to take part in a transcition of GL processes to Poland? If the answer is yes- we have a freat work opportunity in an office located in the centre of Warsaw :)

your tasks

  • Participation in process migration from Local Finance Teams to new established Shared Service Center
  • Perform the end-to-end accounting processes that may include [but are not limited to]: accounting documents processing, preparation of financial statements, etc.
  • Supervision of complete accounting processes for legal entities (receivables, payables, fixed assets)
  • Processing monthly expense variance analysis, Balance Sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis
  • Ensuring accuracy and data integrity in the end-to-end financial reporting process by ensuring compliance with the internal control requirements
  • Supporting Team Leader with organizational and administrational initiatives
  • Responding to queries from Operating Company, support Legal Entities and HQ on ad-hoc tasks
  • Balance sheet accounts reconciliation process including cash transactions reconciliation
  • Assist in performance of tax activities, VAT statements and Intrastate reporting
  • Manage and update internal processes and manuals (e.g. internal control system)
  • Contributing to General Ledger process improvement initiatives
  • Identifying and solving common cross-process (PTP, OTC, RTR) issues
  • Provide guidance and support to other team colleagues on technical, professional and client issues at the level of team’s daily duties
  • Perform other tasks related to the processes being established in SSC

what we expect

  • Good knowledge of German language as well as fluency in English 
  • University degree in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration preferable
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of SAP and Navision Higgs preferable
