your tasks

  • Build the sourcing, outsourcing (make/buy analysis) and procurement based on a long-term strategy together with Strategic Purchasing
  • Work out category management activities across group together with team of Strategic Purchasing and support the transfers from Scandinavian factories to Polish factory 
  • Develop, tender, draft and negotiate contracts in line with the business demand legal principles
  • Maximize value from existing operational contracts and implement new local and framework agreements and category contracts both for existing and new suppliers with the aim of reducing the overall supplier base
  • On regular basis procurement activities analysis to minimise the cost and improve the efficiency in the supply chain by monitoring KPIs for Quality, Leadtime, on time delivery, Price reductions and increasing payment terms
  • Continuous improvements of supply processes
  • Market trends analysis with focus on market drivers and risk reduction/mitigation
  • Markets and sources evaluations of supply across agreed product/service portfolio
  • Manage internal & external relationships
  • Product commodities demand analysis
  • Provide reporting and diagnostics on areas of sourcing, supply and spend
  • Assess operational risks of current and potential supply opportunities
  • Operate in line with company policies and procedures with focus on quality management system, company ethic & culture
  • Work with the Company’s health, safety and environment rules & policies, including CSR activities

what we expect

  • Bachelor degree
  • Metal fabrication & assembly components international sourcing skills & experience – at least 5 years
  • Able to demonstrate achieved results
  • Work with category management will be a plus
  • Experience in outsourcing of processes and services, including benchmarking activities
  • International company work environment experience
  • Tenders set-up experience
  • Quality systems working experience
  • High negotiation skills and knowledge of cost saving projects in order to drive such across the group
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings. It is essential to have a technical background with insight into production and production drawings
  • Analytical skills to assess commercial and financial information, including reporting on selected KPIs
  • Presentation skills to multi-level audiences
  • Familiar with Lean principles including exposure to Kanban, Pull Systems, Material Flow concept
  • Planning & organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks effectively with customer focus and responsiveness
  • Driving License
  • Team player, passionate about the work and wants to win
  • Proactive, ambitious, structured and result orientated  
  • English – advanced
  • ERP systems knowledge
  • MS Office knowledge (proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint is a must)
