For our client from the banking sector, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager, due to the significant and continual increase of implementation of regulatory requirements. A global Regulatory and Compliance Technology Team has been created to provide amplified focus on the implementation of Regulatory and Compliance projects in a timely manner. This Poland based role, will be part of the Warsaw-based team and work closely with Global and EMEA Head.

The candidate will be part of a high performing and niche Global team that will deliver effective project management for EMEA region.

your tasks

  • End to End Accountability of project implementation from initiation to post-deployment
  • Key Stakeholder management with various internal customers, partners, and internal and external suppliers
  • Reviewing Business and Functional Requirements Documents prepared by Business Analyst
  • Ensure various Key Project Management matrices, Tools, Training etc are in align with Department expectations
  • Ensure project implementation is as per company policies, and procedures and guidelines
  • Provide Project Status along with associated Risk, Issue, Dependencies etc to various governance forums as required by Project governance
  • Aptitude to understand technology architectures and work with various partners for designing solution
  • Support Global and Regional Lead in preparing material/presentations for various forums (ad-hoc basis) 
  • Collaborate and work with global teams in NJ, Zurich, Poland, and Pune, Singapore

what we expect

  • Around 7 years of Total experience, minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Project Management
  • Experience in Regulatory Project Management or private banking/wealth management
  • PMI or equivalent Project Management certification
  • Experience in Private banking Operations preferred such as Client Reporting, Client Onboarding etc
  • Ability to work in challenging, demanding and strict regulatory timelines
  • Ability to work in challenging, demanding and strict regulatory timelines
  • Strong communication skills, ability to explain Business requirements in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders (supplier, partners, management etc) in various forum
  • Ability to build relationships and negotiate solutions while liaising between business, operations, technology
  • Experience with working with Off-shore team

  • Flexible with a desire to make an impact
  • Self-motivated and a team player that works wells with individuals and thrives in a complex, global organization
  • Familiar with various project management tools (MS Project, MS SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, etc)
