For Our Client, a manufacturer of rolling element bearings for automotive, aerospace and industrial, which is creating a new SSC in Wroclaw, we are looking for best candidates on the Purchasing Transition Manager position.

your tasks

  • lead roll-in activities/transitions into the Wroclaw SGS Europe especially in an Purchasing environment as part of a cross functional Transition Management team
  • end to end ownership of functional transitions on European scale
  • manage all internal and external stakeholders and build reliable relationship among them
  • building and developing positive relationships, ensuring proper communication and professional support
  • recognize, report on time risks and issues and work on mitigations and solutions
  • build up and integrate SSC transition methodology and competence
  • develop proper skillset and knowledge of people engaged in the project on different levels
  • manage projects and resources involved, including usage of Change Management and Risk Management methods
  • execute project controls and quality management actions
  • oversee part of the Project Management Office tasks (e.g. reporting concerning transition)
  • support resource and financial reporting such as weekly time reporting, forecast, budget utilization, etc.
  • maintain and improve standards and procedures according to internal and external guidelines
  • on instruction from the superior, tasks must be carried out that correspond with the nature of the position or are the result of operational requirements

what we expect

  • at least 3 years of experience in transition of purchasing processes in an SSC/BPO/ITO environment
  • transformation experience in purchasing
  • advanced English and German skills
  • availability for business trips
  • analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define appropriate solutions
  • good knowledge of MS Office and SharePoint required, knowledge of SAP would be an asset
  • project Management certification would be an asset
  • knowledge of SSC/BPO/ITO environment as well as understanding of Purchasing processes will be highly appreciated
  • good leadership, management, and communication skills 
  • agile work style, open to iteration and flexible to change approach/direction 
  • ability to generate new, creative approaches to solve problems and create opportunities 
  • ability to connect with people around a sense of purpose and shared goals to motivate and inspire
