Analyze, categorize, and either approve or remove user-generated content based on established safety protocols and client standards, utilizing dedicated internal software.
Proactively stay current with all updates, modifications, and nuances in client content policies and moderation guidelines.
Investigate and resolve complex or challenging content violations, and effectively communicate high-stakes issues to senior members of the Trust and Safety team.
Act as a dedicated advocate for the platform's user community, ensuring their safety and positive experience.
Contribute ideas and actively participate in projects aimed at refining operational workflows, improving both the speed and quality of moderation tasks.
Attend required training sessions and engage in workgroup discussions to foster professional growth and ensure optimal performance in the role.
Actively participate in discussions involving sensitive social topics to ensure that the platform maintains a secure and non-toxic environment for all users.
Proven ability to manage stress and demonstrate strong coping mechanisms and resilience in a challenging environment.
Fluency in English and German (minimum upper-intermediate level).
The capacity to review sensitive content with complete objectivity, making decisions strictly based on client policies, free from personal beliefs or bias.
Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to quickly synthesize and analyze complex information from various sources.
Sharp critical thinking skills to make sound, swift judgments in compliance with guidelines.
A deep understanding of and passion for internet culture, online platforms, and how digital communities operate.
High affinity for and awareness of the political, cultural, and social landscapes of the German-speaking market and region.
Proven track record of performing effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing business needs and evolving client guidelines.

Nice to have:
Prior experience in Content Moderation, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), or Customer Service roles is a significant advantage.
