Lead all Verification & Validation (V&V) activities across the project lifecycle.
Design and deliver comprehensive test plans for all software releases and production cycles.
Coordinate the development and execution of system, software, and hardware testing.
Maintain and report the official V&V status to all internal and external stakeholders.
Serve as the primary liaison for V&V in customer meetings, managing all related internal and external escalations.
Oversee all defect management procedures, including analysis, tracking, reporting, and ensuring software/hardware failures are resolved by development teams.
Prepare and execute release test summaries and final release testing.
Ensure testing processes comply with audit requirements and manage the budget for project-specific test equipment.
Expertise with testing and calibration tools such as CANoe, CANape, TraceTronic ECU-Test, NI LabVIEW, NI VeriStand, TestStand, Diagra, ETAS INCA, ControlDesk NG, and version control systems like Plastic SCM/Bitbucket.
Familiarity with test methods and management platforms (e.g., Polarion, DOORS, JIRA).
Knowledge of critical automotive standards, including ASPICE, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), and Cybersecurity.
Strong background in relevant automotive areas such as electric drives, transmission systems, battery management systems (BMS), and/or vehicle dynamics.
- Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical discipline.
Minimum of 8+ years as a Systems/Software Test Engineer, including proven experience in leading engineering teams.
Demonstrated experience in detailed activity planning for both individual tasks and team-level responsibilities.
Skilled at analyzing functional and design requirements to develop robust test cases for system, integration, and functional testing, adhering to ASPICE processes.
Capable of creating specific test plans and test cases for HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and eDyne platforms.
Proficiency in C and Python, along with a basic understanding of MATLAB Simulink/Simscape models.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English is mandatory, with strong skills in presenting to both internal and external stakeholders/customers.
Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and high intercultural competence.
Willingness to travel occasionally, both within the EU and internationally.
