We are supporting one of our international clients in the IT and networking sector in their search for a Consulting Engineer. This role offers a fully remote opportunity from Poland. As a Consulting Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor for customers across the European region, helping them design, implement, and support complex Data Center and Cloud networking solutions. You will work on diverse technical challenges, from network design and automation to testing solutions in lab environments, all while maintaining strong client relationships and high levels of satisfaction.what we offer

your tasks

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with European customers, acting as a trusted technical partner
• Participate in or lead complex Data Center and Cloud infrastructure projects
• Troubleshoot cross-functional challenges involving networking, ACI, VXLAN, NMS, and automation
• Validate and test solutions in internal labs before deployment
• Provide technical assistance during hardware and software upgrades
• Engage in status meetings and maintain regular communication with customers
• Manage your deliverables and support Project Managers in tracking progress and resolving project issues

what we expect

• Solid experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Networking and Data Center solutions (Cisco technologies preferred)
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies: Cisco ACI, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs, VPC, QoS
• Good understanding of modern Data Center concepts, architectures, and market trends
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken), with strong communication and client-facing skills
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn new technologies continuously

 Preferred skills (a plus): 

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus devices and Cisco ACI
• Broader knowledge of networking domains (security, service-provider, enterprise)
• Familiarity with public cloud providers
• Experience with operating system administration (Linux, Windows Server)
• Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
