providing innovative solutions to solve and support business opportunities by imparting your knowledge and expertise in interface development for major EMR Partners, strategic partners, and hospital and payor systems.
responsible for assigned aspects of platform's integration software development, testing, and maintenance including meeting deliverables, dates, quality goals, developing batch criteria, creating test data, and then executing test cases integrated into the development cycle.
participate in product design sessions to influence interface output based on state and or federal specifications. Define and refine deliverables to achieve integration goals for solution needs while ensuring highly effective, secure, and sustainable solutions.
perform product development, and quality assurance work as needed with many Agile teams in support of product release goals.
effectively communicate with development and technical/customer support staff to resolve issues and assist in development of partner facing documentation.
identifying and communicating gaps in the product portfolio to the product development and security teams. Works to educate impacted teams and close the gaps.
effectively and efficiently meets productivity and quality requirements associated with the partner management, legal and licensing processes while leveraging technology and effective language to respond to partner needs while remaining an effective steward of security information and intellectual property.
what we expect
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Biomedical Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent advanced experience)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare IT, with a primary focus on FHIR development and complex system integration. HL-7 experience is also required
- knowledge and practical delivery of core healthcare terminologies, including SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CPT, and RxNorm, within FHIR resources and data models
- proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, with a strong track record of building scalable healthcare solutions
- thorough understanding of HL7 FHIR specification, RESTful API architectures, and healthcare interoperability protocols
- extensive hands-on experience integrating with Epic EHR systems using FHIR APIs and SMART on FHIR standards, HL-7 and related interoperability technologies including expertise in OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization for interactive and data exchange integrations
- experience delivering integrations using cloud-based healthcare platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
