your tasks
- making supply chain super smooth: you'll be a big part of making sure that our client deliver great service. This means working closely with the business partners and keeping an eye on the costs for storing and moving stuff;
- keeping score and figuring things out: you'll help to track how well logistics are doing using some key numbers. You'll work with logistics partners to check how things are going when stuff comes in, gets stored, goes out, and gets moved around. You'll also help put together monthly reports;
- handling the money side of things: you'll help with the monthly reports that look at how much spending on transport, storage, fixing up equipment, and getting rid of old stuff;
- navigating operational challenges: you will be at the forefront of resolving discrepancies in inventory, addressing irregularities in electronic data interchange between our core systems and logistics partner's systems, and providing clear explanations of company operational processes to internal stakeholders;
- being the first point of contact for issues: if there are any problems at the places where our logistics partners work, you'll be the first person they talk to;
- driving continuous improvement initiatives
- a bachelor's or master's degree in logistics or similar area and min. 2 years of experience in logistics field (nice to have experience in international FMCG company);
- strong English skills (min. B2/C1);
- ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate and influence stakeholders both internally and externally;
- proactive and results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated capacity to manage projects independently and drive them to successful completion;
- highly developed analytical and numerical abilities, with a natural curiosity to delve into complex issues and identify solutions;
- SAP knowledge will be an asset.
