We are supporting one of our global clients in the technology sector, serving the financial industry, in their search for an experienced Murex Back Office Workflows Developer. In this role, you will join the Murex Projects Team, contributing to the Market Cross tribe, focusing on the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of mission-critical Murex BO processes. You will follow Agile and DevOps methodologies and play a hands-on role in formula development and system integration.
This is a technical specialist role for an engineer proficient in Murex 3.1, who is ready to deliver scalable workflow solutions and support complex business operations in a hybrid setup in Poland.

Design, configure, and maintain Murex Workflows (Contract, Event, Exchange, SI, and Deliverables) for the MX 3.1 platform.
Perform essential hands-on formula development using XSL, XSLT, SQL, XMLF, and Java within the MXML data dictionary.
Provide business support, analysis, and maintenance for the Murex Back Office module.
Develop and utilize MXML services and understand the usage of different MXML tasks in workflow creation.
Integrate Murex with various upstream and downstream platforms.
Configure static data workflows, including SSIs, Counterparts, and Securities.
Work with OSP configuration, STP rights, and Confirmations.
Contribute to EOD (End of Day) processes affecting the Back Office.
Apply DevOps practices, leveraging tools like Jira, Jenkins, and Git for CI/CD pipelines.
+3 years of professional experience in Murex Workflows Development & Projects.
Murex Back Office specialist with proven working experience on Contract, Event, Exchange, SI, and Deliverables workflows.
Mandatory hands-on experience in MXML data dictionary formulas development (XSL, XSLT, SQL, XMLF, Java, etc.).
Solid understanding of the complete Trade lifecycle in Murex and market operations on financial products.
Deep knowledge of the Murex 3.1 platform, particularly the Back Office module.
Experience with databases, specifically Oracle, and strong proficiency in SQL/PLSQL.
Practical experience with programming languages and scripting: Unix Shells Script (KornShell, Bash), Java, XML, and Python.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies: Jira, Jenkins, Git, Confluence.
High level of proficiency in English (required).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred skills
Working knowledge of Murex DataMart.
Experience with Pre-Trade knowledge (Murex Scripting Language).
Familiarity with planning and processes automation platforms (e.g., ControlM) and ServiceNow.
Spanish language skills (nice to have).
