For our client, an established provider of financial and accounting services operating across Europe, we are recruiting for the position of R2R Expert. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting expertise, hands-on experience in end-to-end R2R processes, and the ability to navigate complex reporting structures in an international environment.

- Manage and execute end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including cost accruals and payroll postings.
- Oversee fixed assets accounting and depreciation.
- Handle accruals for doubtful debts – this is a critical area of responsibility.
- Perform revenue recognition in line with accounting standards – only candidates with hands-on experience will be considered.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare balance sheet and P&L statements using consolidation/reporting tools.
- Collaborate with finance teams across Europe and contribute to improvement initiatives.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in R2R / GL / financial reporting roles.
- Solid experience in revenue recognition and doubtful debt accruals.
- Proficiency in fixed assets, cost accruals, and payroll accounting.
- Experience with consolidated reporting tools (e.g. SAP BPC, HFM, OneStream).
- Strong command of SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Fluency in English (minimum B2); German is a plus.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
