- be responsible for the Source to Contract process for the EMEA region focusing on MRO (abrasives, grinding wheels, spare parts – mechanical/electrical, tools to drawing)
- collaborate with the Global Category Manager and EMEA Category lead and the Local Purchasing team to deliver sourcing, negotiation, contract shaping and execution, and supplier management
- execute sourcing strategies and optimize the supply base to achieve our objectives on quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and innovation, considering the best practices and methods
- deliver savings and other set KPIs critical to the spending category
- support team in categories: CAPEX, Custom made Tools (TTD), and Energy, by being fully accountable for the whole source to contract process and SRM
- absorb, share, and promote best practices and sourcing excellence within Purchasing Communities
- secure compliance with the company's Global standards
- ensure early involvement in the purchasing by building strong partnerships with different business functions
- maintain and develop relationships with strategic local, regional, and global suppliers and work closely with them on cost-optimization projects
- analyze the cost of products and services and propose simplification of the design, reduce unnecessary specifications that don’t add value
- min. 5 years of relevant sourcing experience
- proficiency in negotiations and contracting – experience in categories of MRO/mechanical-electrical spare parts as a must
- strong procurement expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, cost model synthesis, and supplier relationship management for delivering EMEA region, multi-country, high spend complex engagements
- knowledge & Experience in Project Management / Change Management
- strategic & analytical thinking
- good understanding of product cost breakdowns and experience in methods for TCO management, based on product cost analysis and cost engineering
- able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications, good understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering standards for industrial parts
- proficient in using Microsoft Office (including MS Excel, and Power BI)
- excellent communicator and presenter at key stakeholders / top executive level
- significant analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills – the ability to lead negotiations and purchasing projects as part of international communities
- flexibility to travel (EMEA region)
- very good English (min. B2 level) is a must
- good SAP/ARIBA experience
- understanding of economy and finance and the ability to make strategic decisions based on that
