your tasks
- develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and system completion strategies
- lead the offshore commissioning team and coordinate efforts with engineering, construction, HSE, and operations departments
- manage the mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases across electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and process systems
- supervise the preparation and tracking of commissioning dossiers, punch lists, test records, and handover documentation
- ensure all commissioning activities adhere to HSE regulations and project quality standards
- collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and client representatives to conduct testing and functional verifications
- provide regular updates to senior management on commissioning status, readiness, and performance
- assist with performance testing and support early operational phases when required
what we expect
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field)
- 10+ years experience in commissioning roles, with at least 5 years in offshore construction or oil & gas projects
- strong knowledge of offshore systems, including topsides, subsea, utility, process, and safety systems
- familiar with system completion tools
- proven leadership and coordination skills in multi-disciplinary teams
- excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities
