What will your tasks involve?
- Requirements & Schematics: Create schematic designs based on requirements and select appropriate electronic components
- Library & Documentation: Build and review library parts while maintaining comprehensive design documentation
- PCB & Layout Design: Design PCB layouts considering electrical, thermal, and EMC constraints
- System & Wiring Harnesses: Develop electronic assemblies, wiring harnesses, and prepare detailed manufacturing data and specifications
- Commissioning & Testing: Conduct hardware commissioning, design test specifications, and perform electrical validation and measurements
- Security & Quality Assurance: Execute HW pentesting, run design reviews, and revise hardware based on change reports and defect analyses
What we expect from you?
- Experience: 1-3+ years as a Hardware Engineer/PCB Designer/Electronic Design Engineer (Automotive context is a strong plus)
- Communicative German (min. B1/B2) for collaboration with HQ teams
- Good English (min. B1/B2) for daily project communication
- Hands-on experience with Altium Designer, KiCad or similar
- Studies in electrical engineering (master/diploma) or related courses of study such as computer engineering, precision engineering or similar fundamentals of electrical engineering
- Hands-on experience with at least 60% of the following fields:
- Technology stack - Altium Designer, Jira, Confluence, MS Office, StarTeam
- Electronic systems & circuits
- Knowledge of standard circuits and their adaptation to specific problems
- PCB production processes and technologies
- Test methods and systems
- Basic understanding of EMC
- Requirements management and tools
- Knowledge of component technologies and basic properties
- Cost awareness of individual technologies
