1. Strategic Leadership & Site Management
Scale the Business: Ramp-up of production capacity from initial setup to full operation.
"Sell the Plant": Act as the primary ambassador for the facility. Your job is not just to move products, but to "sell" the plant’s capabilities, quality, and efficiency to headquarters, investors, and potential partners.
Financial Oversight: Manage the site budget, oversee local financial issues, and optimize costs without compromising quality.
2. Production & Technical Operations
Hands-on Management: Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor. You are a leader for 30 employees, who leads by example if a technician is sick or a critical issue arises, you are willing and able to step in and keep production moving.
Technical Authority: Use your engineering/technical background to oversee machine installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Supply Chain: Build and manage relationships with local suppliers to ensure a steady flow of raw materials and packaging.
3. People & Culture
Team Building: Drive the recruitment and onboarding process. You will build the team from the ground up, ensuring new hires are trained and aligned with company values.
Leadership: "Drive" the people with positive energy. Foster a culture of accountability and problem-solving.
Audit Readiness: Welcome auditors with confidence. Ensure the facility is always inspection-ready (GMP/ISO) and handle regulatory visits with professionalism and transparency.
what we expect
Education: Technical/Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering).
Experience:
Proven experience in Production Management or Plant Management, preferably in the Cosmetics, Pharma, or FMCG sectors.
Experience managing a P&L (Profit and Loss) or significant financial budgets.
Track record of scaling teams or managing startup/brownfield projects.
Language: Fluent English & Polish is mandatory (for reporting to the mother company).
