your tasks
- establish procurement strategies for acquisition, receiving and tracking of project materials that optimize quality, cost, and timely delivery criteria
- prepare procurement execution plans and oversee the full array of materials management and procurement functions of purchasing, expediting, shipping, receipt and inspections, and logistics
- optimize the material and supplier portfolio – that is what materials should be bought in bulk and consumed as needed from inventory by projects, and which materials are best to acquire as needed for specific projects
- cultivated collaborative partnerships with colleagues and customers, improving communication and service delivery
- spearheaded the management of 3PL warehousing, distribution, and order-to-invoice processes, ensuring efficient and timely fulfillment of customer orders
- develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
- ensured alignment of the supply chain with customer expectations, significantly enhancing customer satisfaction levels
- developed and maintained order fulfillment best practices, including vendor managed inventory relationships, leading to an improved order fulfilment rate
what we expect
- minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in infrastructure or industrial projects
- experience in offshore, oil & gas or LNG or construction is highly desirable
- control a budget, manage contracts, project management and risk management
- highly developed negotiation skills
- proficiency in using data to analyze market trends and make strategic decisions.
- experience and willing in leading cross-functional teams
- excellent Polish language skills
- very good English language skills are essential for communicating with international teams
- openness to foreign business travel
