Our Client is a growing cosmetics manufacturing company supported by a strong international mother company. They are currently setting up a "brownfield" operation and looking for an outspoken and hands-on Quality Lead.

your tasks
1. Quality Assurance & Audits Management
Audit Leadership: Manage and host approximately 5 major audits per year, including ~3 direct customer audits and external certification bodies with support of the QA & QM Manager from the HQ. You must have a track record of passing these successfully.
Systems & Standards: Oversee compliance with the requirements of the IFS HPC and GMP standards, the HACCP concept,and other safety/quality requirements (e.g. ISO 9001), ISO 19011 (Internal auditor)).
Customs & Compliance: Ensure quality documentation aligns with customer`s requirements for incoming goods and finished products.
2. Operational Quality Control (Hands-on)
Team Management: Supervise and develop a team of 2–3 In-Process Control (IPC) employees.
Testing & Release: This is a hands-on role. You are responsible for the administration/data entry into the Statistical Quality Control software (Mettler FreeWeigh). You perform tests when necessary and handle the official release of goods in the system (ERP).
Process Control: Monitor the quality of raw materials, in-process goods, and final products.
3. Problem Solving & Communication
"Build the Bridge": You are not here to say "no" just for the sake of it. You are here to protect the brand while working with production to find solutions.
Defend the Quality: You must have the personality to stop the line if standards are not met. You are the voice of the customer inside the factory.
Structured, process-oriented: You have a structured approach to work and a focus on continuous improvement. Thanks to your analytical approach, you and your team are able to identify root causes rather than just treating symptoms.

- Education: Trade or academic training in the field of chemistry/food chemistry/pharmaceutical engineering or a similar field is required.
