Our client is a leading provider of aftermarket lifecycle solutions for electronic equipment. The RPA Regular Developer designs, develops, tests, deploys, and supports robotic process automation solutions using UiPath. The role focuses on reliable hands-on delivery, technical documentation, incident resolution, and collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. The developer works within established architecture, security, governance, and change-management standards and does not carry team leadership, people-management, recruitment, roadmap ownership accountability.

your tasks

 

UiPath Platform Ownership & Administration

 

·   Own and administer the UiPath enterprise environment, including Orchestrator Cloud and robot server infrastructure (currently 5 servers / AWS).

·   Maintain the highest standards of robot quality, reliability and uptime.

·   Monitor robot activity in UiPath Orchestrator; manage scheduling, alerting and exception handling.

·   Respond to and resolve incidents arising from malfunctioning RPA processes.

·   Manage licensing, access controls, and platform governance.

·   Maintain documentation of all deployed automations, processes, and change records.

RPA Solution Development

·   Develop and maintain end-to-end RPA workflows using UiPath in line with approved designs and development standards.

·   Participate in process discovery, requirements clarification, and process mapping with business stakeholders.

·   Assess technical feasibility and contribute effort estimates, solution options, and implementation plans.

·   Build reusable components and integrations with Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SuccessFactors, internal platforms (ex. RCP, SDM, IvyApp, B2B), databases, and APIs where required.

·   Apply appropriate exception handling, logging, validation, and retry mechanisms to improve automation reliability.

·   Use AI and machine-learning capabilities within approved solutions when they provide clear process or data-quality benefits.

Testing, Deployment & Support

·   Prepare and execute unit tests; support system, integration, and user-acceptance testing.

·   Package and deploy automations through the approved release and change-management process.

·   Monitor assigned automations in UiPath Orchestrator and investigated alerts, failures, and performance issues.

·   Resolve incidents and defects, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

·   Support scheduling, queues, assets, credentials, and robot configuration within assigned access rights.

·   Contribute to stable robot operation, availability, and recovery procedures.

Documentation & Quality

·   Maintain process design documents, solution design documents, test evidence, deployment records, support instructions, and change history.

·   Follow coding standards, naming conventions, version control, peer-review, and testing practices.

·   Prepare clear handover materials and operating instructions for support teams and process owners.

·   Protect confidential data and comply with access-control, information-security, and data-protection requirements.

·   Contribute reusable knowledge, templates, and lessons learned to the automation repository.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

·   Work with IT Operations, IT Project Management, business process owners, analysts, and other developers to deliver agreed automation outcomes.

·   Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, incidents, and technical constraints to the lead or project manager responsible.

·   Identify practical improvements to existing automations, manual Excel-based reporting, and data-processing activities.

·   Contribute technical input to automation standards and tool evaluations without owning team strategy, governance, budgets, or personnel decisions.

·   Participate in Agile or Scrum ceremonies and complete assigned actions within agreed priorities and deadlines.

what we expect

• Practical experience developing RPA solutions with UiPath.

• Working knowledge of UiPath Orchestrator, including monitoring, jobs, queues, assets, and exception handling.

• Understanding of RPA process design, business analysis, and process mapping.

• Experience testing, documenting, deploying, and supporting production automations.

• Experience with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, or integration technologies.

• Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, such as Java, Python, or equivalent.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders.

• Ability to organize own work and deliver independently in a remote-first environment.

 

Nice to have:

• Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

• Experience with Windows Server, AWS, Oracle, Vertica, SuccessFactors, or equivalent platforms.

• Experience with Celonis or another process-mining tool.

• Microsoft AI or Copilot integration exposure.

• UiPath certification.
