For one of our clients – an energy company based in Gdańsk – we are currently looking for experienced candidates to join the Record to Report (RTR) department.
As an RTR Accountant, you will become a member of the global RTR team located in Gdańsk. The team is responsible for General Ledger accounting, monthly and quarterly IFRS reporting, review of account reconciliations, and supporting global financial reporting processes. Your daily responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance during internal and external audits.

your tasks
- managing month-end close processes and monthly reporting activities
- recording and reviewing accounting entries accurately and in line with procedures
- executing year-end closing activities and reporting
- performing account reconciliations and analyze accounting data
- supporting and guiding less experienced team members
- collaborating with internal finance teams, business controllers, tax teams, and external stakeholders
- responding to audit queries and ensure compliance with audit requirements
- delivering accurate and timely financial processes
- keeping internal process documentation up-to-date
- participating in meetings, trainings, and improvement projects
- fostering open communication and collaboration within the team and across the organization
what we expect
- minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, General Ledger, or RTR — preferably in a shared service center environment
- university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA or similar qualifications are an advantage)
- knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and MS Office
- knowledge of IFRS standards is an asset
- excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- high attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
- positive, flexible mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
