your tasks
- record accounting transactions and consolidate financial records
- verify accounting records for completeness and compliance with regulations.
- manage and record items in fixed asset evidence
- take an active role in periodic physical inventory and fixed asset checks
- maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions
- resolve discrepancies efficiently to ensure accurate accounting
- allocate costs based on established allocation keys and methods
- participate in the preparation of financial reports in accordance with IFRS, Group reporting standards, and statutory requirements
- verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents and records
- ensure proper coding and entry of invoices in ERP systems
- request, collect, and compile all necessary supporting documentation
- support VAT, CIT, and other tax reporting requirements
- provide information and support to external auditors, and the Chief Accountant
during the annual audit process - collaborate with teams to provide data for the statistics office (GUS)
what we expect
- university degree (preferably in finance and accounting)
- minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- strong knowledge of IFRS and Polish GAAP
- knowledge of tax regulation
- experience in production industries would be a great plus
- very good command of English (B2)
- knowledge of the ERP systems (knowledge of SAP would be an asset)
- attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in a team
