your tasks
manage and coordinate technical office activities, ensuring effective communication between all project disciplines
coordinate the submission, review, and approval process of technical documentation in collaboration with the engineering manager and quality department (for document control)
track technical deliverables against the master document register (MDR) to ensure timely submissions in line with the project schedule
act as the main point of contact for technical queries (RFIs) from the site and ensure their resolution through the relevant discipline
support construction teams with technical information, drawings, and method statements
ensure that all design changes, modifications, and technical deviations are documented and processed through proper channels
develop, maintain, and update the overall project schedule in coordination with project and discipline leads
establish and manage project control systems for schedule, cost, and progress monitoring
monitor progress against the baseline schedule, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions
implement progress measurement systems for engineering, procurement, and construction
prepare and issue regular progress reports (weekly, monthly) with variance analysis and forecasts
support risk management activities, including schedule risk analysis
coordinate with procurement and construction teams to align schedule with field progress
advise management on the schedule and cost impacts of changes and delays
what we expect
engineering degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or marine engineering
15+ years of professional experience, including at least 6 years in the oil & gas industry or offshore construction in a similar role
proven experience in both technical office management and planning/project control functions in large-scale EPC projects
familiarity with FIDIC contracts and multidisciplinary project execution
proficiency in planning software (primavera p6, ms project)
strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural project environments
fluent in English
