If you bring 7+ years of hands-on Azure application engineering, deep expertise in message-driven integrations, and a passion for writing clean, testable, high-performance code, we want to hear from you.
What will your tasks involve?
- API & Serverless Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable APIs and event-driven backends utilizing Azure Functions.
- Enterprise Integration: Implement seamless, decoupled communication between distributed enterprise systems using Azure Service Bus (topics, queues, and message routing).
- API Management & Governance: Configure, manage, and enforce API policies, security, and rate-limiting using Azure API Management (APIM).
- Observability & Performance: Leverage the full suite of Application Insights features to monitor telemetry, profile API latency, diagnose errors, and drive proactive optimizations.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Write clean, modular, and maintainable code backed by comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Technical Advisory & Collaboration: Act as an agile problem-solver, collaborating closely with key stakeholders, cross-functional engineering teams, and preparing actionable architectural recommendations for senior management.
What we expect from you?
Requirements (Must-Have):
- Azure Application Engineering: At least 7 years of hands-on software development experience within the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Serverless & Messaging Expertise: Proven track record building enterprise integrations using Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus.
- API Gateway & Management: Practical knowledge and working experience configuring and managing endpoints via Azure API Management (APIM).
- Application Monitoring: Hands-on expertise using Application Insights for advanced monitoring, distributed tracing, and metric collection.
- Testing Discipline: Strong, practical experience writing unit tests and designing for testability.
- Problem Solving & Agility: Innovative problem-solving mindset with the agility to adapt and think on your feet in dynamic environments.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with proven ability to craft and present technical recommendations to senior leadership and engineering partners.
- Collaborative Mindset: Strong team player driven to deliver high-quality results while fostering productive partnerships across teams.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with CI/CD automation pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
- Knowledge of cloud security standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Azure Key Vault).
What you can expect from us?
- Contract: B2B model.
- Work-Life Balance & Flexibility: Predictable hybrid arrangement (only 2 days per week in our modern Kraków office, paired with remote flexibility).
- Enterprise Scale: Direct impact on high-throughput, mission-critical integration workflows within an international cloud environment.
- Duration: 6-month initial contract with strong prospects for long-term project extension.
