To support the growth of their Chemicals Division, they are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Customer Service Representative to join their operational team.
What will your tasks involve?
... - Interface between customers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers. Ensure customers
and principals are provided with accurate and timely information on sales and
purchase transactions. - Input of purchase, sales and other related data in the local IT system. Responsible for
accuracy of information, updating and monitoring information from input to
completion of the order. - Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally and assist Product Managers
in managing inventory levels related to assigned stocks at warehouses. - Deal effectively with customer problems and provide timely resolution.
- Payment collections management. Actively contributes to customer credit limits
control, collection calls and payments recovery if necessary. - Work closely with the logistic companies and accounting departments to ensure the
streamlining and efficiency of procedures. - Take advantage of regular relationships with customers to provide sales team with
market information and possible sales opportunities. - Assist the sales force in all related work and business development.
- Manage inventory levels and logistics from suppliers’ plants through to the customer.
- Administrative duties, paperwork and filing associated with function, including
telephone coverage for main number. - Back-up other customer service support functions, and other projects as assigned.
What we expect from you?
- Solid background in B2B Customer Service, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management, preferably involving import/export procedures.
- Experience within manufacturing or industrial sectors is highly desirable; however, candidates with strong corporate B2B customer support experience are also warmly encouraged to apply.
- Fluency in both German and English (minimum B2/C1 level) is required for seamless daily communication with international clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interface with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, plus a strong problem-solving mindset.
- High attention to detail, strong accuracy in administrative duties, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in supply chain logistics.
