We are currently recruiting for our Client for the position of Distribution Planner. Our Client is a global powerhouse and undisputed leader in consulting, technology services, and digital transformation.
What will your tasks involve?
- Supports execution of short- and long-term DRP processes to help ensure finished goods availability across markets while balancing service, inventory, and supply constraints.
- Contributes to replenishment planning and maintenance of inventory parameters (e.g., safety stock, lead times, MIN/MAX) to support stable distribution signals and network performance.
- Monitors supply risks through KPI analysis, coverage reviews, and exception tracking, escalating and supporting mitigation actions as needed.
- Participates in availability management by identifying stock risks, supporting resolution of shortages, and coordinating actions with factories, markets, and logistics partners.
- Supports execution of product lifecycle activities (Phase-In/Phase-Out) to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of supply.
- Works cross-functionally with demand, supply, logistics, and market teams to support aligned and effective planning decisions.
- Contributes to planning governance by supporting KPI reviews, supply risk discussions, and escalation processes.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance DRP processes, tools, and data quality.
What we expect from you?
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in DRP, distribution, or supply planning within FMCG or international environments.
- Strong understanding of DRP concepts, inventory management, and replenishment processes across multi-market networks.
- Proven experience managing inventory parameters (safety stock, lead times, MIN/MAX) and improving service and inventory performance.
- Ability to identify, analyse, and mitigate supply risks using data, KPIs, and structured problem-solving approaches.
- Proficiency in planning systems (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder or similar)
- Advanced Excel capabilities (Power BI, experience with SQL, data warehouses, and system implementations is a plus).
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- University degree or technical background (logistics, manufacturing, systems, or business is preferred).
- Readiness to work 8-hour shifts scheduled between 08:00 and 24:00.
