We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to serve as a functional backfill during a payroll transformation program across multiple European markets. This role ensures the continuity of day-to-day payroll operations while the organization transitions to a new vendor and operating model.

- Execute and validate payroll runs for salaried, hourly, and expatriate employees across weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cycles,
- Ensure accurate application of pay elements, statutory deductions, and retroactive adjustments,
- Maintain compliance with local tax, labor, and social security regulations,
- Support payroll cut-off activities, reconciliations, and approvals,
- Validate payroll data mappings and configuration logic between legacy and new systems,
- Participate in UAT, parallel runs, and defect resolution,
- Document SOPs and support knowledge transfer to new vendors or systems,
- Maintain payroll trackers, checklists, and compliance logs,
- Support audit readiness and statutory reporting during the transition,
- Escalate risks related to data integrity, system behavior, or operational readiness.
- 4+ years in payroll operations, preferably in a multinational or multi-country environment,
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing, vendor coordination, and compliance,
- Fluency in English, fluency in one of the following: German, French, or Italian.
- Exposure to payroll transitions or system migrations is a plus,
- Proficient in payroll systems (e.g., SAP, ADP, Workday, Oracle),
- Strong Excel skills for reconciliation and data validation.
