Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network (DNS) Engineer to lead the architecture, engineering, and operational management of enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) services within a dynamic financial services environment. In this role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure the high availability, security, scalability, and automation of core network infrastructure supporting mission-critical banking applications, cloud platforms, and data centers.
What will your tasks involve?
- Architecture & Management: Design, deploy, and manage high-availability enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) platforms across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Governance & Lifecycle: Develop and maintain IP address management strategies, standards, and governance processes tailored to strict financial security compliance.
- Cloud & Integration: Integrate DDI services with network, security, and cloud platforms across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
- Automation: Automate DDI provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows to drive efficiency and reduce manual overhead.
- Operations & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier-3 operational support and resolve complex DNS, DHCP, and IP-related network issues in large-scale enterprise setups.
- Security Standards: Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to enforce DNS security mitigation, monitoring, and resiliency standards.
What we expect from you?
- Core Expertise: Deep expertise in DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI), with hands-on experience using enterprise platforms like Infoblox, BlueCat, or equivalent solutions.
- Networking Fundamentals: Strong background in enterprise network architecture, routing, switching, TCP/IP, and IP address lifecycle management.
- Cloud & Automation: Practical experience with public cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and automation scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).
- Security & Governance: Proven knowledge of DNS security protocols (DNSSEC, RPZ), governance policies, and incident management.
- Experience & Education: 5+ years managing enterprise-scale DDI environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (relevant network certifications are a plus).
