- manage payment proposals, bank statements, and accounts for customers and suppliers, including month-end closing and liquidity tasks
- ensure all payments meet legal requirements and company rules while maintaining high quality and meeting deadlines
- help implement global guidelines and actively look for any errors or deviations in the payment process
- manage payment tools by requesting technical changes and coordinating fixes for any system problems
- participate in moving new company into the global system and verify that all financial data is transferred correctly
- collect data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders to prove that processes are followed correctly
- suggest and help implement modern solutions to make payment workflows faster and more consistent across the globe
- help plan and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and efficiency of the team
- train new employees and global partners on how to use tools and follow best practices
- university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- minimum 5 years of experience in bank statement management and/or payment management and processing payments
- deep subject matter knowledge of payment processing and bank statement accounting
- understanding of payment processing and bank statement accounting
- understanding of Invoice to Pay and Invoice to Cash processes
- fluency in English, both written and spoken
- experience in working with the ERP systems, preferably SAP and Swift, Service Now
- systematic, organized, and proactive approach to daily tasks
- strong problem-solving capabilities and a development-oriented attitude
- excellent customer service skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships in a team
- cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively in a global environment
